 Nature’s Start Bread Company is an artisan bakery that specializes in naturally leavened breads. Our breads are made with an organic wild yeast starter that develops a remarkable flavor and soft, chewy texture. Our breads aren’t made to rise quickly with instant, rapid-rise, or bakers’ yeast. Instead, our starter is developed using only filtered water, organic flour, and the natural bacteria from our good ol’ Rocky Mountain air! The slow rise process not only gives our breads that unique flavor, but also has a longer shelf life with no added preservatives. Sourdough is widely known for its many health benefits, and our wild yeast starter is the foundation of Nature’s Start Bread Company, LLC. In fact, it's the center of what we’re all about.
